FIDAC Dolls

In 1930, the American Legion Auxiliary participated in the formation of a group known as “FIDAC” (the Federation International Democratic Allied Countries). It was an informal federation of citizens of the countries who were allies during World War I. The idea was to promote the solidarity of purpose, which was promulgated during wartime conditions by building understanding of each other on an individual basis.
